Key meetings and roundtable discussions on cross-media collaboration

Greenstone Initiatives will be in London for Pocket Gamer Connects London, participating as part of the British Columbia delegation and contributing to a series of meetings and industry discussions across the games, media, and cultural technology sectors.
On 20 January, Greenstone Founder and CEO James Hursthouse will take part as a discussion leader in a hosted roundtable at the Beyond Games Transmedia Summit, held at the Barbican. The session, Transmedia Cooperation in Challenging Times: Strengthening Games, Music, and Film/TV Through Collaboration, is designed as an open, informal conversation focused on practical collaboration across sectors.
Unlike a traditional panel, the roundtable format encourages active participation from all attendees and is intended to surface candid perspectives on how games, music, and screen-based media can work together more effectively in a shifting global landscape.
In addition to the roundtable, Greenstone will be holding a series of pre-scheduled meetings during Pocket Gamer Connects, focused on international growth, partnerships, and strategic collaboration.
While in London, Greenstone’s focus will include ongoing work across games and interactive media, including its advisory involvement with Appreciation Engine and FairShare around compliant, consent-driven audience engagement, as well as YOM and emerging approaches to cloud distribution, instant play, and content discovery. These themes reflect a broader interest in how games intersect with music, film, and creator-led ecosystems, and how content sourcing, rights, and distribution models are evolving across platforms and regions.
For those attending Pocket Gamer Connects London who would like to connect, meetings can be requested via the event’s MeetToMatch platform, or by contacting Greenstone directly.
